Don Pl Hegi, DVM

Don P. Hegi, DVM

Dr. Hegi graduated from Petersburg High School. He attended Texas A&M University graduating in 1978 from Texas A&M University's College of Veterinary Medicine.

He practiced in Texas City for four years before coming to Lubbock in 1982. He established the Animal Care Clinic in 1984. 

Dr. Hegi is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA), and the South Plains Veterinary Medical Association (SPVMA). He is also a member of the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce.

Mary Blackburn, DVM

Dr. Blackburn graduated from high school in Houston, TX, and from Texas A&M University. She is a 1983 graduate of Texas A&M University's College of Veterinary Medicine. 

She practiced in Guam before coming to Lubbock. She has been with the Animal Care Clinic since 1988. 

Dr. Blackburn is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA), and the South Plains Veterinary Medical Association (SPVMA).
